Dr. Jessica Randolph has been appointed director of general education assessment with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, starting this fall semester. This is a half-time appointment that allows Randolph to fulfill her faculty and other administrative duties in the School of Health Sciences. In her new role, Randolph will provide leadership for general education assessment by overseeing the assessment process, coordinating with colleagues across the institution, and exploring opportunities to use assessment data for continuous improvement.

St. Louis Cardinals television play-by-play announcer and Lindenwood alumnus Dan McLaughlin was recently featured in an interview-style article in the Sporting News. In the article, he states that his time at Lindenwood allowed him to immerse himself in broadcasting and prepare for his career.

Children’s book author Danual Berkley will speak about his journey as a writer and his work in self-publishing from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, in Harmon Hall Room 136 on Lindenwood’s St. Charles campus. The event--which is part of the Lindenwood University MFA in Writing program Craft Talk series--is free and open to the public.
